Just a little push! - Stuck in the sand, had to get some help to reach the Tarmac. Still, it was fun! (Photographer: Magne Vingsand)

Ok, so the TA is 6 years old, and not brand new. Still it makes me wonder: Have you even tried riding a new Transalp? This discussion is starting to look like a "my daddy's bigger than yours" kind'a thing. Grow up, go riding, have fun!

I agree with Paul, That old transalps best left in the water. As for the XR getting stuck? Only stuck behind that old shed of yours as you wobble along!

To me it's just a funny picture. I got stuck 'cause I was going to slow and the tires are more suited to tarmac (Michelin Sirac). I'm not an experienced rider but was still having fun in that sand. The Transalp is more than capable of riding there, as shown by more capable riders than me. (for instance on the [link removed] page under "multimedia" or "galleri")

I agree with Roger, there is nothing wrong with transalps, what do you ride Paul?

What seems to be wrong in this picture: "The Transalp should switch places with that XR"

That was not a very nice comment! Any reason why I should drown my bike?
