Honda Transalp - Stopping the CDI (ignition) black boxes from dying

On the early Transalps, the CDI units were directly under the seat. In time, the seat sags and puts pressure on the connections to the CDI units and causes them to malfunction.
To stop this happening to your 'ALP re-locate your CDI boxes lower down, so the seat does not touch the connectors..
